Experimental short film directed by Evan Schwartz. An abstract reconstruction of a sexual assault. My voice narrates the piece, my flashlit limbs appear here and there within.

Premiered as part of the Flickers independent film screening series in Brooklyn, NY. Screened in London as part of Sweet Thing Film Club’s DREAMSPUN shorts program in April 2024.

 

M-Agination Films: Socially Distanced Relationship

Filmed in Autumn 2020 under the university’s strict distance guidelines, student organization M-Agination films produced “Socially Distanced Relationship”, a short romantic comedy about a couple who only just got going before Covid-19 kept them separated for the summer. Now that school is back in session, how will they stay together while staying six feet apart?

 

Jesus Corner, a Staged Reading

 

Written and directed by Samuel Auperlee, Jesus Corner is a work of documentary theatre based on real interviews with queer teenagers about growing up in religious families. The narrator, the host of a Christian children’s television show, battles his own traumatic history as he attempts to present conflicting doctrine to the young audience.

Damn Good TV

Presented as a radio play by Blank Space Workshop, DGTV is a satirical examination on the culture of the reality TV show, and the ways the women involved in their creation find their lives manipulated into the story told onscreen. For this fictional romantic reality show, I got to play the titular Man in the Hot Tub, as well as disgraced ex-security guard Paul. Available on Apple Podcasts, Soundcloud, and right here!
